THE PURPOSE OF KINTSUGI LIVING IS TO ASSIST YOU DURING YOUR JOURNEY OF GROWTH AND HELP YOU DEAL WITH THE EMOTIONS THAT LIFE PRESENTS IN YOUR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LIFE.
Hello, and welcome!
I'm Gauthami Veerender, a PSI-registered mental health professional committed to making therapy affordable, inclusive, and accessible. My practice is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and resilience.
I have significant experience working with Autistic and otherwise Neurodivergent adults, and I take a Neurodiversity-Affirmative approach that values each person’s unique strengths, identities, and lived experiences. I also have experience supporting children in school settings, working with parent-child relationships, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide person-centred care.
I have experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds in India and across Europe. I am fluent in English and Telugu at a native level, I can speak Hindi at an intermediate level and French at a beginner level.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to the individual, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic approaches, and developmental theories. I aim to help clients gain deeper insight into their emotions and behaviours, regain a sense of control, and navigate challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
With an academic background in biological sciences and research experience in neuroscience, I bring a holistic lens to my work, considering the complex interplay between brain, body, and environment in understanding mental health and well-being.

I use the metaphor Kintsugi as it translates to “Golden joinery”. This is the ancient Japanese art of repairing fragments of a broken pottery using gold, silver or platinum to fill the cracks and rejoin the broken pieces. The end result is a complex abstract which is beautiful with a story to tell!
The philosophy behind using this metaphor is to embrace oneself with all the imperfections, instead of trying our best to hide it.
Allow breakage and the process of repair.
